Homestead Emporium's Pricing Information.
You may notice that there are various prices,
even within the same sizes etc..
Pricing really depends heavily on the fabrics used. Some fabrics such as flannel & hemp fleece, especially undyed, are less expensive to purchase, so prices are lower for HomemadeMama's pads made with these fabrics.
Specialty fabrics, especially organic velours, silks and specially hand dyed fabrics will be more costly simply because these fabrics are much more expensive.
This can be a bit confusing, but we prefer to keep the different prices rather then raise them all. This helps to cover the extra costs of the more expensive fabrics that many people love, yet still allows the more basic pads to remain lower priced for those who simply want basic cloth pads.
How are the shipping costs calculated?
This can be another confusing question here at our Hyenacart.
Homestead Emporium ships from Canada. Our least expensive shipping rate to the US is usually $3.00, international/overseas $4.10, as we are not permitted to send even just one pad in the mail as a letter. If there is anything other then paper documentation in the package/envelope/polymailer, it must be shipped as a "small package".
For the most part, this is not a problem as shipping several pads doesn't cost a whole lot more.
For additional pads, additional shipping is charged automatically here on our Hyeancart.
Occasionally the automated shipping charges will add up to more then a customer expects, and in that situation you may double check here for flat shipping rates. If there is a difference of over 2.50, please feel free to contact us about a partial shipping refund after your order has arrived.

International Shipping Costs (outside of the US and Canada):
These are more difficult to determine, but will be automatically calculated on the instock shopping cart. If there is a discrepency in the shipping price you paid of more then $3.00 found, after your order has arrived, please feel free to contact us for a partial shipping refund..
Processing & Shipping details
Orders to the US are shipped First Class Airmail.
Most orders within Canada will be shipped air/regular mail or expedited for larger packages.
For instock orders, these are shipped within 3-5 business days. We have one vehicle for our family, and we need to make a trip to the post office to ship here in Canada. This can cause the variation in shipping times between 3-5 business days.
For custom orders, the length of time will vary depending on your order. Most custom orders take 4-6 weeks to complete & ship from the time of payment.
